I. Working principle of high pressure centrifugal fan
The working principle of high pressure centrifugal fan is to convert kinetic energy into potential energy. The high-speed rotating centrifugal fan impeller speeds up the gas, then slows it down, changing the direction of the flow and smoothly converting kinetic energy into potential energy. In a single-stage centrifugal fan, the gas enters the impeller from the axial direction, flows through the impeller and changes radial direction, and then enters the diffuser. Inside the diffuser, changes in the direction of the air flow cause a deceleration of kinetic energy into pressure energy. The pressure increase mainly occurs in the impeller and then in the diffusion process. In a multistage centrifugal fan, a recirculator is used to move the airflow to the next impeller, resulting in higher pressure.
